Note:
This vehicle is normally fitted with bulb failure monitoring for which we
recommend wiring the parking sensor kit via a Single Bypass Relay available from
our Accessories section.
Citroen C5 fitted
with the 1840V(L) Front Parking Sensor system
with four round recessed sensors. Professionally fitted by Alan Barnard Tel:
07770 592915 Covering Hampshire, Wiltshire & Dorset.
Fitters comments: "be
very very careful with the height of the central sensors, mount as low as poss.
with reference to the tow ring access hole & sensor height allowance, run o/s
cables under plastic shield & head for a grommet under the wiper linkage, run
no/so cables under plastic trim following loom to firewall & follow loom to
of/so & through the grommet under the wiper linkage & into drivers foot well,
earth was picked up at a convenient chassis bolt, ignition + was taken from
ignition switch loom & a fuse holder & 3amp added within 4inches to follow good
electrical installation practice, cpu mounted to under dash side of cd changer
compartment, operating switch & sounder mounted to removable panel below
steering column."
